Historic photos distributed throughout tuxtlas.com were scrounged off other
websites, private collections, wall hangings and hotel lobbies.
Some photos I borrowed off Cundo, a historian in Catemaco, proprietor of a small
antique & rental shop and gadfly of events in Catemaco. His best pictures are out
on loan to someone from the University of Veracruz who is intending to do a photo
history of Los Tuxtlas. (Yeah, right! 2006)
The out of print book Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz: Imagenes de su historia, by Jose
Gonzalez Sierra, has a very good historical photo collection.
Other photos are from the internet, most all can be found on a CD collection, San
Andres Tuxtla, Imagenes de Antaño. Thank You to the Director of San Andres
Tourism, Sra. Addy Garcia for informing me of the disk.
