Dematac´s 50K walk of Laguna Catemaco´s shores
50 or so valiant defendors of the Tuxtlas environment set out to circumnavigate Laguna Catemaco to
increase awareness of the lake´s shortcomings. Some actually completed the walk, including the
Tuxtlas biosphere´s resident manager and Catemaco´s resident belgian chiropractor and swiss
physician.
It´s a healthy event and will hopefully recur year after year (preferably before the start of the rainy
season.
