but the
municipio counts with 144 educational institutions, from preschool to high school.

35 doctors provide medical care at 10 public facilities, but there are dozens more in the private sector.

81% earns less than 2 minimum salaries daily (about US $7.50).
8 % don´t have a toilets or drainage, 12 % lack running water, and 12 %  have no electricity.

The budget provided from local state and federal funds is projected to be app 51 million pesos in 2005,
plus some other funds that I´m not clear about. (dif)
Right now that´s a little more than US $ 100 per person, annually.

Property taxes are assessed against 11,336 units, averaging 116 pesos, about US $10, even though the
house is worth a million pesos or dollars.
