Las Margaritas ecotourism is designed for groups. Accommodations
consists of communal dining and sleeping facilities, plus private elevated,
throne like structures, called bath rooms. In disregard of ecological
concerns, the facilities are constructed directly above a swampy area
within the federal laguna setback.
The pueblo is situated within a very pretty valley, very visible thanks to
tree harvesting, and criss crossed by numerous streams. The foliage
and bird life are magnificent, and abundant hillside trails await nature
lovers.
Within less than an hour are some archaeological remnants, and others
are visitable by renting a row boat. Horses are also available to trail into
the hills.
