Access: by ferry from La Barra
At present, the area is inaccessible, except by panga (one car ferry) from La Barra de Sontecomapan, or
seasonally impassable trails via Los Morritos from Coxcoapan near Sontecomapan. A real road is in political
consideration to be constructed from Coxcoapan to Los Arrecifes on the southeast gulf coast.
The first, non fenced beach is about a half hour walk across some very pretty scenery.
The only convenience store is Don Yito´s which feature a pool hall, cold drinks and occasional meals.
